Under 9’s 2022
Coach: Joseph Caruana
Manager: Kate Webster and Michelle Stendell
Coach’s Report for 2022 Season …
Our season officially began we finally got on the field in Round 3, after the first 2 rounds were cancelled due to rain (although technically for the Under 10’s, as the Under 9’s opposition forfeited). It was obvious the Under 9’s were ready to “just play some footy”, and play they did. The season highlights reel includes snaps around the corner, running bounces, clearances, crumbing, dummy’s and ball and all modified tackles.
I have just one question, “who is on the lead…”?
It has been a privilege to see each player grow in their footy skills, stamina and confidence. We started as a group of individuals and ended as a cohesive team, truly willing to fight ‘til the final siren’s gone. We earned the right to sing the team song, as we are strong and bold, from Tiger, yellow and black, we’re from Tigerland!
Thank you to Kate, Kathryn and the Committee for your support in my first season as coach, as well as to the parents who helped during training and on game days. It is with your enthusiasm and commitment that we made season 2022 a roaring success.
